First of all, let me tell you this, I have been researching online stuff for several years so please remember that I did NOT find all this stuff overnight! I would be tickled pink if you could find even one little thing to help you in your journey! (that makes it all worth it!)
What I will try to do here is share some things that I have done (and learned) ... things that have worked for me... doesn't mean that it is what will work for you but it will give you some more things to research...
There are so many things out there, and it only increases... so the hardest part is finding the niche for yourself and then the easy part is going to work . :)

I did mlm or network marketing off and on for over ten years and that does work - I never had tons of success with it.... it just wasn't my niche!
Doesn't mean that it doesn't work wonderfully for the next person!
I will be speaking mostly on affiliate marketing throughout my site as that is where I have had the most success...
As far as the Affiliate Marketing Stuff .....and my personal niche now... there is a learning curve that everyone has to go through. For some folks it takes a few months and others it can take longer to get their brain wrapped around the concept but once you've got it, you have GOT IT. :)

Things like Commission Blueprint.... Profit Lance ... One Week Marketing ..(which is my favorite :) are all various training courses to help with affiliate marketing... it seems like they all have their own slant to things and different methods work for different people.
Listed below are some sites that I have made with affiliate products - some of them are still very new and it takes some time for them to get 'out there' like I want them to, but I have made sales and that is the rewarding part! ;)

Knex Toys :) - using companies avaliable through Commission Junction as affiliates
The Montana Mom 5 site is one that I have had for awhile and I made that using a free place as well - actually I paid a few bucks a month to have it ad free, though... but I like to 'park' a lot of things here and I constantly change things around as well ...
The MontanaMom5 site is one that I have in my sig wherever I post around online as it is a doorway to other sites that are mine... and they all link together so people find me from all kinds of places - which is what happens after you have been online for awhile!
